One of the best concerts i have been to in a long time. Weather was atrocious for a little while but did not dampen the concert. Thought the food was very expensive for what you get but did not go there to eat.

I haven't been to a live concert in a long time and wasn't disappointed, Vanessa was great with plenty of talent to support an international band.
Rob sang from the heart with feeeling and meaning you could really get into the story of each song. He is beautiful and has a spectaular voice and band.
I cried hearing songs like Diamonds in her eyes and Someday, have never felt that way hearing songs sung by any one before.
i love that he supports charity 'side walk angels' got on the website and was very impresed in all ways.
I will never miss another concert had fatastic seats 12 from the front, would do the winery concert again.
words can't discribe how impressed I was with the concert.

Vanessa Amorossi has a brilliant voice. She was sexy and in great form. She pumped out the hits and the new songs with great gusto. Highlights, This Is Who I Am, Hazardous and Absolutely Everybody.
Rob Thomas was slick and very entertaining. His cover of Lets Dance was good and the radio friendly songs he produces, came along almost pitch perfect to the cds. He explained why he didnt play Matchbox 20 songs- good venue, shame about rain. will go again

Setlist: Everything he ever sang solo plus some others. He rocked. He opened with Fire on the Mountain and had a great ebb and flow of fast and ballads. @

Opening act(s): Vanessa Amorossi! You were on fire. She was amazing and well deserved of an International Act. She was awesome and really got the crowd rocking. Powerful voice and really had the whole crowd on their feet. She was sensational!!!! Thanks heaps Vanessa. @

Rob Thomas and his band were sensational. He was absolutely awesome and superceded my already high expectations. Vanessa Amorossi was equally, yes equally brilliant. She rocked and complimented Rob very well. The best concert I have ever been to. Although the electrical storm and torrential rain were unexpected it was still amazing! Thanks Rob and Vanessa for a fantastic event!!!!!

Rob Thomas rocked the Hope Estate Winery, I have seen Rob & Matchbox 20 everytime he has come to OZ.... This concert was by far the best, I am constantly in orr of his brilliance as a singer & song writer. It absolutely pissed down prior to the concert starting however this certianly did not dampen my spirits nor did it effect the hundreds & hundreds of fans there waiting to see ROB.... Can't wait for his return - next time I will be buying a MEET & GREET TICKET - regardless of the cost....

Turned up sat down and the skies opened up.....
I think they were ready to rock upstairs as well !!!
Concert was unreal....Vanessa was brilliant too...
Had a huge fun night out...danced our feet off in the slushy mud...
Way to go Rob....thank you for a memory we will always remember..

Firstly we arrive at the gate at 4.20pm only to be told the gate didn't open to 5.30pm Hope Estates response was they sent an email out to everyone. Eventually we got in not too long after 5pm because of customer backlash. I mean if the ticket says 4.30pm then that's when they should be ready!
Rob Thomas was good but he only sung one Matchbox song so I was bitterly disappointed in. I understand that he wants to sell his music but we were led to believe that there would be more songs than just one from his Matchbox career!
What about the ending he said "Thanks for coming out Hunter Valley" then he was gone no encore no nothing. It was the first concert that I had been to like this and ask why no encore?.
After the concert finished we were sitting on our rug waiting for the bottleneck of people/ traffic to leave when we were asked why we were sitting there, I'm talking 5 mins. The staff told us "well the problem is we can't leave until you do and we want to go home!". I was disgusted as they were being paid to be there and as a result will think seriously if we wish to go to another concert at Hope Estate as we were highly disappointed in the event.

I saw Rob both nights at Hope Estate, My seating was perfect - his performace was unbelievable. His interactions with the crowd was so personable and I was enthralled by his music. Would have seen him a thousand times over!

This was aweful. There was no shelter what so ever and you were not allowed to bring an umbrella, not that you would have wanted to use it when the massive lightning storm hit before the main events even came on. We were so soaked it we could not stay. It was ridiculous and with the power cutting out and being surrounded by trees and metal scaffolding it was just aweful. Would love to know what he actually sounds like live!

Omg wot else can I say? apart from the thunder storm that arrived unexpetedly and left just as fast (after we got totally soaked) we had a totally awesome nite at Hope Estate. Both Rob Thomas and Vanessa Amorossi were amazing....a great performance from both..Vanessa got off the stage and mingled around the crowd through her performance and Rob , well he was fantastic. He even brought Vanessa back on stage and they jammed a couple of songs out together... he also played some old Matchbox 20 stuff as well.The weather held out so the open air venue was great...Loved it!!

The Hope Estate venue was well set up, with plenty of facilities, I was impressed it was all very well thought out and Rob Thomas was UNBELIEVABLE can't wait until the next concert with MATCHBOX 20. I enjoyed the whole Hope Estate experience and would reccomended it to anybody, the atomsphere was intimate, I loved it I wanted more. I left the concert feeling privilege that I was a part of something AWESOME.

Myself and 4 other friends went and saw Rob Thomas on saturday night at Hope Estate Winery. It was absolutely fantastic as always when we see him in concert. Rob has an amazing voice and we can relate to the words of his songs. Even though there was a down poor before he came out it didn't put a damper on our night. I would have liked to top it off with winning meet and great but i wasn't that lucky. We would go and see Rob everytime he has a new tour.

I have been to many concerts a number in the Hunter Valley but I can safely say that despite the thunder, lightening and rain Rob was fantastic - great venue of nearly 20000 people ohhh and by the way Vanessa Amorosi is brilliant as well - great aussie act

Rob Thomas a fantastic concert he has an amazing strong voice and to top it off is sooo hot. Vanessa Amarosi was also fantastic with an amazing strong voice. The venue at the Hope Estate winery was fantastic even though the skies opened up and it absolutely poured. The food served was awesome had a great nu ight and would highly recommend anyone to go.

Even though it absolutely poured down on the first act this didn't detract from the rest of the concert in any way. Once the stage was made safe again Vanessa Amerossi came on and did a great performance which only gave even more build up to the main event. Rob Thomas for two hours straight, what more could you want. Every song was a favourite and even when they had technical difficulties because of the earlier rain Rob still continued and did an accoustic number while they fixed things up. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
