What an amazing gig! Didn't want it to end. Just returned from living in the UK for the last 8 years and never managed to secure tickets for this event. So back at home I have managed to do it. The support Bombay Musical Club was excellent. They were a treat themselves. Fantastic support. Then more magic with Elbow. Thanks for the beautiful and soulful music, the entertainment and real connection with the audience. I can't wait for your return!

After seeing them twice before in different venues I can safely say that Elbow have lost nothing of their wonderful warmth and fantastic sound in a rather poor venue.

Great night from Elbow,again. For great live music from a bunch of guys whom clearly enjoy themselves and enjoy playing music together. The atmosphere and dynamics between them makes for great night. This is not a band that's simply ticks the box and moves on. They work hard and they want you to hopefully enjoy what hey produce. Thanks guys.

Also thanks to Bombay Bicycle Club who were in support. Always difficult playing scond fiddle. But these guys were professional and provided you with music that was simply great. They are a group to keep watching and if you have not been listening, start!

It's hard to describe the feeling being at that concert. I was in raptures the whole night. Guy is an absolute legend ... and scrumptious! He's so interactive with the crowd, and funny. Holy cow ... he's hillarious. The music, lighting, atmosphere, everything was awesome. I didn't want it to end. There were so many more songs they could have played, but they work so hard. They must have been exhausted. I can't wait for the next one.

Elbow put on a great show, playing the best of their song list. Guy engaged the audience from the moment he stepped onto the stage, and had them all in the palm of his hand. They played a great set, a mixture from all of their albums. They were tight and I love every song. Foe me it was like hearing my favourite tracks played live just for me.

The sound was not the best from the seats we were in, and there is constant movement of people going to the bar. The view was pretty good, apart from the fence separating the standing room from the seated area. Festival hall only suits certain groups, and it suited Elbow because Guy could connect with the audience.

I feel so lucky to be seeing Elbow in reasonably small venues after all they are huge in England and a big Glastonbury draw. Guy loves to play to an audience and not only are they a spectacularly tight musical band Guy draws the crowd out and makes jokes and talks to you all and makes you feel like you are the best audience ever. They twist a lot of the songs to make them more interesting on stage, Guy and the keyboard player having a quiet moment with some acoustic songs, The whole band grouping together, having a drink and acoustically starting out on Weather to fly. Guy involves the audience by getting everyone to clap, sing or just generally get on down and have a good time. I went to see them in Melbourne as I am from Brisbane and was busy the night they were here. But now they have an extra date at the Tivoli. I am contemplating seeing them again. Elbow is a band that takes work but it is so worth the effort.

These guys have always been awesome live, and the set was so good: Grounds For Divorce, One Day Like This, Mirrorball, Lippy Kids... They really know how to entertain a crowd! I took a friend who is into mainly hip hop who had never heard any of their music and he loved them so much he's bought all their albums. Even if you don't listen to them, seeing them live gives a whole new aspect to their sound. Definitely recommended!

Unreal night. Just love this band and their music it is so UNIQUE. Guy's vocals are truely amazing, his lyrics move me.Can't get enough of Elbow and a must see is Elbow live at Abbey Road with BBC Orchestra, am currently trying to get hold of DVD it is a MUST SEE!!!!

Elbow were pitch perfect and tight as anything, bringing tears to the eyes of a few of us 40somethings in the crowd with their gorgeous melodies and heartfelt lyrics. The melancholy moments were blasted away by joyful tunes that kept us wanting more. A gentle, 30somethingplus crowd eventually gave in to their inner teen by the end, singing along and raising the roof. Fantastic. Fantastic. Fantastic. More more more please. Come back soon.

Such an amazing live performance. Guy Garvey's sexy voice combined with the great sound quality and size of Festival Hall made for a very enjoyable experience. I would have to say it was one of the best concerts I've been to.

Fromthe moment they took the stage, Elbow had me captivated. They have such a comforting stage presence, that make it hard not to smile. Gus knows how to hold the audience in his hand, and at the same time, deliver the most amazing sounds with the band. Having seen them two times previous, they are only getting better, and the set list was a perfect blend of old and new. The encore, finishing with One Day Like this, was the perfect way for the Manchester lads to say farewell until next time, and leave everyone smiling from ear to ear!

Guy and the guys delivered an outstanding set of some of the most lyricaly rich songs that I've heard in a very long time. To make the night even more memorable, the bond between the band that exists after 22 years is obvious and is reflected in the banter and the performance. Guy Garvey connects with the audience like few performers are able and the affection for the crowd and vice versa is a wonderful thing to experience.

I trust that Elbow stay connected for many more years to come.

Elbow came highly recommended to see live and I can see why - a great night from a very accomplished group of musicians. Thoroughly enjoyed the night and interaction with the band. The CD does not do them justice - you must see "live" to get a full appreciation of their talents. The venue was ok but could be better for getting the full impact from the live show. Well done ELBOW

Good crowd atmosphere, great mix of songs, good sound quality (except for 1 glitch which would've deafened the band), amazing music and good humour from the band. I totally recommend seeing Elbow, they are fantastic. Guy's voice gets stuck in your head and you go away singing all of their sings.

Beautiful music, expert musicianship & Guy Garvey's amazing voice made this concert an absolute pleasure. However, the main thing that made the night was Guy's brilliant engagement with the audience. A bit of audience participation is a great thing & Guy managed to make us all feel part of the show & that Elbow were really chuffed that each & everyone of us had come along to see them.
Second time I've seen them & definitely not the last...
