I went to watch wicked last night with some friends and i really enjoyed it. Before i went, i read so many reviews about people raving on about how good it was and at first, i didn't expect it to be as good as they said. Already halfway through the performance during intermission, i couldn't wait for the second part to start again.

Never having read the book, i was left in suspense and guessing what the ending would be like. The props, singing, acting and the production of the whole thing was spell bounding. I recommend everyone to watch it before it is out of theatres.

I loved every moment of the performance. It had humor, drama, action, romance and excitement. Loved it!

Absolutely fantastic......best musical I've ever seen, even beats Phantom! We had great seats too which made it even more enjoyable. The leads were incredibly talented with amazing voices, particularly Jennifer Dinoia who has joined the company from Broadway to play Elphaba and our own Lucy Durack as Glinda...together they were electrifying and dynamic. The ensemble had some great dancers as well and of course Bert Newton and Maggie Kirkpatrick were wonderful too. They got a standing ovation of course. Not bad for a Tuesday nite! The musical director was a woman.... and amazing to watch; the setting and lighting effects were incredible ....it held us spell bound for the entire performance.Now I'm planning to take my granddaughter to see it as it will appeal to her as much as my generation! Merchandise marketing was great too so have a green glass to use at Christmas as well as some presents for people! Go and see Wicked you will not regret it!

I thought that Wicked was such an awesome musical! The only problem was I didn't like Burt Newton- he couldn't dance, or act and kept losing his dodgy American accent. Other than him, I loved that musical so much!

For those who are thinking about seeing this show, I highly recommend you do. The show is brilliant. The cast & production is second to none. A cleverly written & well stage production. It was very entertaining, a great night out. I have seen it twice now & it was even better the second time round.

This was my first musical and even if i saw 100 other ones i know Wicked would still be my favourite and the best!
I just cant stop telling people how enjoyable it was and how anyone of all ages can go to see it!
if you havn't seen it i implore you to see it asap!

I took my 9 year old niece to the show for her birthday.....we had row c seats which made the experience amazing. We were able to see the detail in the costumes, characters and makeup.

It was an amazing show and the stroy line was perfectly written

Congratulations to all involved.

So friends told me, there is no way the Australian cast could be as good as any of the international casts they had seen during their recent travels overseas. Now having only seen Wicked once, I can't comment, but i do know that the Australian cast put on an amazing performance. While it wont change the way you think about musical theatre, the show definitely pleases. Great songs, great dance numbers, fantastic performances from favorites (Bert Newton etc) and some fantastic up and coming performers all made up for an incredibly enjoyable experience.

A lovely night of escapism. The effects were fantastic. The music, dancing and costumes were amazing. Most importantly I enjoyed the storyline and the voice of Elphaba was like no singing voice I have ever heard live before. Congratulations to all the performers!

I was impressed. So much talent in the young cast and the set and production was perfect - Burt wasn't too bad as well.

We were in the middle of Row A which is about the 4th row back. I wouldn't want to be any closer, but I wouldn't want to be too far back either - there were a lot of big impact scenes with busty vocals that made Row A the perfect spot. I was surprised with the intelligent humour and was completely impressed by the singing talent.

The climax just before the intermission was fantastic and the Wizard of Oz' mechanical machine was very well done.

If you're in two minds about going, then don't be, just go! You won't regret it.

Also if you are coming from the CBD side of Sydney there should be plenty of restaurants on Pitt Street and near the theatre to eat. Don't head back into the CBD or you could be wandering around looking for somewhere good. Just find something on the way.

The costumes and the performers were amazing. Would go and see it again if I could. The merchandise was of good quality and reasonably priced. The slushie drinks in the flashing glasses were a great idea. The musical itself was very entertaining and the singing and acting of very high standard. I love going to musicals at the Capital Theatre it really is a beauiful old theatre. Weel worth watching.

LOVED IT LOVED IT.!!!!! Had everything a fantastic musical should have- excellent scenery and costumes, amazing choreography and effects, the show runs flawlessly. the singing is absolutely goose bump inducing- the voices fill every space in the Capitol Theatre. It was also very funny, made me laugh and tear up. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute

Being a Musical "Virgin", What a show to see for my first one!! Wicked was funny, sad, brilliant..... I couldn't take my eyes off of the stage. The set, the costumes, the songs, all magnificent! As for the leading Ladies, voices of Angels...... Love, Love, Loved it!!!!

Top quality show. Up there with some of the very best London west end shows
a truly professional theatre company. Amazing sets and some outstanding performances. A great success. Congratulations to all involved. Performers and back stage crew alike. Will be back to see it again. My daughter is still buzzing with excitement from it. Cheers

This was the second time I have been to see the show and it was just as amazing as the first. It has it all! Great set design and costumes, fantastic acting and singing.
I Loved the untold story of the two witches, its funny, its sad, a truely unforgetable show.

Wicked was fantastic - I enjoyed every minute of it. It was funny, sad, and inspiring. The cast was absolutely amazing and I wished I was so talented as they were. I just wanted to get up there and join them. I hope I get the change to see it again!
