I've never been to a comedy show before and I'd only recently been introduced to Arj Barker's comedy. It was an amazing show and I'll definitely be seeing him again. Not to mention the venue was amazing

This was one of the best comedy shows I've ever seen and I go to a lot of them. It was side splittingly funny and as always politically incorrect which is always fun.

Arj did an amazing show, jokes didn't get old, and it was all fresh material. Using mic techniques, mixing up the sounds, je kept it dynamic and not monotonous. Just an all-round awesome dude!

Hi
I totally love Arj sick, he is a super dude and makes me laugh every time. considering I have heard alot of his material he still manages to mix it up and make it different. I know its a good set when I cry continuously from my left eye throughout the entire show and my left shoulder was soaked with happy tears so that is definitely good news......the venue was awesome had never been to the state and it was great will definitely visit again!

Not all that impressed with Arj Barker. He started off ok but became a bit tedious and boring......just not all that funny. I think he was trying to hard because of the show being filmed and even back-tracked a couple of times to get the follow up laugh.
The two lead up guys were pretty funny, I'd rather have seen them for the whole show. Venue was impressive though felt a bit crammed in.
Wouldn't recommend his show to anyone, had a whole lot more laughs at Adam Hills' show earlier this year.

After seeing Arj in action on various TV shows and the radio, I was unsure how he would be live, and if any jokes would be repeated. WOW, was I surprised. For an 1 hour and 15 minutes he was on stage keeping the crowd entertained and laughing. His wit and style is fantastic, and that American tone just rocked. Arj knows how to setup great observations, and then come back to them later in the show. He IS a master in the Comedy scene, Job well done.

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. Arj Barker is a comedian you definitely have to see at LEAST once in your life! His unique style of comedy ensures lots of loud laughs which keep you laughing, long after the event is finished.

We took our teenage son to see Arj and had a fantastic time! Arj was hysterical (as usual) and his 2 Aussie mates that opened for him were terrific and equally as funny! It went for a good amount of time, so you really felt that it was well worth coming as well!. We would definately go to see the same show again, it was that GREAT! His humour is side splitting at times and you find yourself just laughing through the whole show!!

I am a huge Arj Barker fan so I organised tickets fr me and 15 of my mates to go see him on friday night...but we all walked out and said the same thing....WE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE!! music can become classics and people want to hear there favorite song but once you know the punchline to a joke its not funny anymore...

The State Theatre is a beautiful venue, and was the perfect setting for Arj Barker's unique brand of observational humour. From Alzheimer's to Global Warming to piracy- there was something for everyone, and Arj's delivery was usually spot on! The audience was engaged and supportive as well as generous with their enthusiasm and applause.
Unfortunately , towards the end it got a little slow and decidedly unfunny, but by that time we were ready for him to wind it up so we could leave, anyway.
All in all it was a good night, and I would certainly go again.

Arj was expected to be hilarious - he totally delivered the goods and I was laughing almost the whole way through.
Arj's humour is relevant and non-judgemental. Sure it's dirty at times but you have to be able to laugh at most things in life once in a while.
Highly recommended to give you a laugh and good night out!

It was the first time i'd been to the State Theatre in 10years, i got tickets late and sat at the top/front section in DCSIC areas (i think)
Arj Barker was great!! and was definitely worth it, most of which was new material that i hadnt seen yet so was impressed.
my gripe is with the theatre, it holds alot of tradition BUT people up on the top section has to literally lean forward in order to see Arj for one and so you can see over the person in front of you (who happens to be leaning forward also). The place needs renovations done but i feel this will not be happening because of money i assume.
anyway i dont want to harp on that - Arj was cool and his new DVD will be worth getting.

Arj Barker is a twisted minded story teller! He has the ability to make you believe something and kind of let you you down right at the end! Arj is just wrong!!! And we love it!
