We took our five year old grand daughter to her first ever theartre experience . She was so excited & a little frightened before we went but sat rivited to the stage the whole time & in her words "It really was just great, Gran. Can we go again." what more do you need to recommend a show than the words of a child . They speak from the heart.

I have seen many musicals and stage productions...Annie rates up there with the best of them. The chemistry between the performers is electrifying. So vibrant and energy full. We are going to see it again next month. Absolutely recommend it for young and young at heart. Amazing performance

Firstly, we had been very excited to see this and our seats were good and we had to get cushions (for my 7 year old & myself) as a very tall person was 2 seats in front and his head took up the whole stage. I had to sit on my legs! Not happy for nearly $240.00
Secondly, it was so hot in there with the heating - my daughter & I were taking off layers and thus, it distracted my daughter being fidgety!
Thirdly, we both felt it was miscast - especially Miss Hannigan (her costume was completely wrong & perhaps this would have changed our feelings & a little too old for the part I feel) & Grace was a little to presumptuous in her voice. Rooster & Miss Hotel were the highlight - they suited their parts & costumes! The kids were great too!
Fourthly, Annie's straight wig a disappointment!
Finally, Mr warlow I am sure would have been a better choice for Mr Warbucks as he appears a bit more imposing - the second one was of too little structure & appeared too small for the part!
Note: theatre is visual & perhaps I care for this more as the songs speak for themselves
We left at half time and all that was offered was to move to other seats as they would be perhaps cooler - the heat & our blocked vision was the cause of leaving - we had had enough! I would have preferred a refund really. I am a single parent & saved up and we stayed in a hotel and travelled from our country home to see this show & the hotel was the Highlight! - a big disappointment as it was my daughter's first theatre show and doubt if she will want to go again!

The overall play was good but feel disappointed as Anthony Warlow and Alan Jones were both missing from the line up, couldn't help but feel short changed for my money.

loved Annie, my friends and my 12 year old loved it too, the children especially were amazing, the dancing was fantastic also the costumes, we loved the funny bits in the second half of the show. it was defiantly worthwhile travelling three and a half hour to get their to see it, Thank you

A really lovely musical which myself and my 6-year-old daughter thoroughly enjoyed. I saw this in London's West End as a child and was thrilled to be able to take my daughter. The musical has stood the test of time and was much as I remembered it - sweet, without being too saccharine, heart-warming and fun. Annie and the orphans were very strong, and Annie had a great little voice without shouting. What a great supporting cast from the staff of Warbucks too.The only thing I wished were different was that our seats had been closer. We were in row P in the dress circle, and while we had a good view, it was too far back to see the actors' facial expressions, so I felt a little disengaged from the action. Well done to cast, crew and orchestra. A fabulous production.

Annie lacked WOW factor. The deviation from the original story line robbed the show of any excitement.
To make matters worse, a young mother thought it would be a good idea to bring her crying baby to the show, unfortunately she did not have the common sense or manners to remove herself from the theatre.

Couldn't help myself and go again, it certainly didn't disappoint!
It was Anthony Warlow's last show on the evening of Saturday 4th August and the emotions were high.
What a brilliant cast. Couldn't keep my eyes off you Anthony Warlow and could see obviously it was an emotional show for you.
Annie you were delightful, great voice, sincere and emotional acting and fantastic dancing. I know we will see you again!
Those beautiful orphans - just gorgeous, every single one of you.
Directors and producers - you got it SOOOO right! Perfect casting, well done.

Loved it - so great. So wonderful to see so many fine performers. Annie (Kaitlyn) was absolutely fantastic as were all the little girls. Loved Nancy Hayes and Todd... Missed Anthony Warlow but our Daddy Warbucks was wonderful and of course we love Bert. Only thing we didn't love was the $9.50 slurpie.. Goodness me.. $9.50 for flavoured ice?? Its a hard knock life lol..........:)
