Goosebumps from The Lion King.

In March 2004, a week before our wedding, my then fiancee and I saw The Lion King at The Capitol Theatre. From the first moment that the music started I had goosebumps and the hairs on my arms stood up. The first few minutes were totally amazing and something I can always remember. My husband is not really the theatre sort of guy and for him to go it has to be a really good show. We have tickets for Jan 2014 and we are taking our 2 daughters. It is a show they must come and see and it's kind of cool that we are now taking our children. All of us are so excited and we can't wait, even my husband!

We are no longer together but I have pre order her a ticket.

My Fiancé and I saw this in December 2012 in New York. From the very beginning we were captivated and cried during the amazing retelling of the story. We rave about it to everyone and will not be missing it when it comes to sydney!

I went and saw The Lion King on Broadway in 2009. The first note of The Circle of Life reverberated right through me and I wanted to cry. From that moment on I was hooked and didn't want it to end. It was the perfect evening with the perfect entertainment. Please - pretty please - fingers crossed - that we get to see it come to Perth, otherwise I will be travelling to see it again. It was an unforgettable experience. The costumes, the music, the acting. It really was the whole package.

My husband took me to see this when we first met back in 2005. The show was just AMAZING and I have never forgotten it, the costumes, the stage sets and the singing were just out of this world. Fast foward to 2012 and the show is back here I am so excited!! We now have two little boys and I cannot wait to take them to see it. They love animals so will just be amazed at it. I would urge anybody to go and see it, wether you have kids or not you will talk about it for years after..just like I have. Of all the shows I have ever seen this one is the absolute standout of all live shows. Thankyou so much for bringing the show back to Sydney for 2013.

Saw the Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre in London with my daughter on her 21st birthday. It was an unforgettable experience which I would highly recommend to everyone. I will definately be making the effort to see it in Sydney.

I was lucky enough to see this in South Africa.
An amazing experience that I want to share with my children. If you have not seen this, in the flesh, then your life is not complete. Can't wait for it to come to Australia.

I saw the Lion King twice in New York in 18 months. this is one of the greatest musicals I have ever been to. I missed it in Sydney so I can not wait to see it in Sydney this time.

Saw the Lion King in Adelaide, then took whole family (kids, their spouses and girlfriend and grandchildren plus niece and nephew) to see it in Sydney. Then in August 2005, saw it again in Melbourne.
Wanted to go see it in Singapore last July but work committments/timing didn't allow.
Already planning trip to Sydney in December 2013 (with younger Grandies born since 2005).

What a show! From the the costumes to the music everything is amazing. The Lion King is a special show that I could see again and again. Who would have thought that the movie could be brought to life like this. Can wait to see it again in 2013!!

What a great experience seeing the Lion King at the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas two years ago. We missed seeing it in Sydney, but will not miss the return performances.A show suitable for all ages, the costumes are stunning, the actors should be given great credit for their performances.Can't wait for it to come back to Australia.

I went with the whole family to see this spectacular show thinking it would be fun and entertaining for the children BUT was I mistaken! From the first drum beat you are captivated and taken on a magical visual and musical journey in time and space where you truly feel like you are in mystical Africa with the Lion King and all his wild colourful crazy friends.
The talent were incredible to watch with their singing and dancing and acrobats in stunningly colorful costumes. With many surprises for the audience we were on the edge of our seats for the whole show! We were all completely enthralled and walked out with eyes still wide open so as to take in ALL that was on show.
Our family group has now grown to 30 so will be getting in early for tickets 2013!! Can't wait!

I am thrilled this wonderful, breathtaking and visually spectacular show is returning to Sydney. I will never forget seeing it the last time it played in Sydney and hoping that it would one day grace us with its presence again.
The costuming and sets were like nothing i have ever seen before and still havent seen again to this day. And coming from a musical fan like myself, that is a big statement.
A must see for ALL. Kids will adore it and adults will enjoy just the same.

I am so excited to see Lion King again! This is the best show I have ever seen in my life! There is absolutely nothing else like it. The costumes are amazing and the music is fabulous! I love the very beginning when the animals come down the aisles- so unexpected!
This is a must see for all of Sydney!!

Watching the video promo for the stage production gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes. This has been a favourite Disney creation of mine for many many years now and will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart and yours too I'm sure!

The Sydney production last time around was thoroughly captivating and enjoyable. My husband and I cannot wait to share the magnificence of stage and this wonderful story with our children from Dec 2013 who are HUGE fans of the movie.
