From beginning to end the show was a riot! Opening act with Guitar Guy was hilarious and entertaining, then of course Jeff-fa-fa. The slideshow before the act started was amusing and kept the crowd from getting antsy in anticipation.
Opening up with a story about his recent trip up to Oregon, Dunham got the crowd rolling off to a good start and kept it going by bringing out Walter, as cynical and funny as ever.
Following was the world famous terrorist, Achmed - creating a few new STDs called ichibut, nasal nuts and oakland arsehole. Leaving Dunham and Guitar Guy cracking up on stage and admitting that this was one of the weirdest shows of the tour so far.
Peanut soon followed with a brief cameo appearance from Jose Jalapeno on a Stick. Dunham was current with his jokes and bust out a whole new repoitore for the tour. But all said and done, you wouldn't call Dunham a "kid-friendly" show yet it was surprising just how many children were there, and on Valentine's Day no less ;p I guess their parents weren't looking for any show hook-ups lol
Ending his show on Peanut the audience cheered and gave a standing ovation, bringing Dunham back for an encore with the elusively hilarious Bubba J - admitting he hasn't brought Bubba J out in a while Dunham used a "cheat sheet" for his original jokes, only to be freaked out by the whole audience chanting the punchline. Officially making Oakland, the strangest show Identity Crisis had done yet!

It was an unforgettable, special night and I thank Dunham, Guitar Guy, Walter, Achmed, Peanut, Jose, Bubba J and all the crew who brought the show together! =) Happy Valentine's Day everyone ^_^

The real thing is so much better than U-tube. You know all the jokes but there's always something different going on. My friends and I have been avid fans of Jeff for a few years and this was as good as anticipated. Guitar Guy was an excellent opening act, very clever as he charted his own history with the changes in rock and roll. It never ceases to amaze me how good comedians can crack themselves up in the middle of a show when they ad lib, like when peanut was doing his apology. The other thing I really thought was good was the local slang and mentioning some of the more notorious/seedy parts of Melbourne. These things always get a laugh. All in all an excellent show. We want more Jeff. Come back soon and bring Guitar Guy and all the gang.

Jeff Dunham is a marvellous entertainer. The night was jam packed with laughter and pure entertainment! My whole family was in stiches from laughing so much! Will definitely return to see him when he returns to melbourne!

Everybody needs to see his show!
If your in need for some serious laughter then this is the show for you.
I could not stop laughing from start to finish of this show.
Guitar man was outstandind, but Jeff accompanied by Walter,Akmed,Peanut and
Bubba j just produced a night out that l will not forget.
If their is any show that you should see it has to be this one.
still laugh even thinking about it.

Such amazing talent in the entertainment provided = Guitar guy wowed us with his gentle humour and powerful guitar skills. I was so impressed with the length and quality of show that Jeff provided . I expected quite a short show due to the demands on his vocal skills - but he engaged us for a long show without even a sip of water!!! He had researched the city of Melbourne and its idiosyncracies and was spot on with his choice of humour around that ( although I dont think we say Crikey! down here!!). He was smart enough to minimise his characters that Australians couldnt relate to ( ie jalapeno), and left everyone laughing at his expense as we scripted him for bubba jay!

A talented, innovative quintessential showman, well supported by Brian and his guitar.
We hope he returns to Australia soon, and allows more Australians to be aware of his show by marketing himself down under in the mainstream...or perhaps he likes cult hero status!!!

Where do I start - Oh I know - pity he was not here for longer I would have gone again, and again, and again. Fantastic, funny, honest, incredible. Says what all "TRUE" Aussies think and really want to say, but CAN'T because we might 'OFFEND' a bloody immigrant who has come to OUR country for a better life as long as it is on THEIR terms - BULLOCKS. You want to live here you live by OUR customs, OUR rules, OUR culture and speak OUR language. And Jeff is not afraid to voice those opinions or of the consequences.
Face hurt from laughing. Who knew the truth could be soooo funny!
Next time would try for front row not balcony.

Jeff Dunham's performance was superb. I think he was surprised that we knew some of his material, but the rest was new and very well done. The encore with Bubba J was very funny as this was the original material which the more enterprising of his fans had already seen (I have both his CD's via the Internet), and we (the audience) were reciting it back to Jeff. Jeff was the ultimate professional, took this development in his stride and adjusted Bubba's dialogue to fit. Very funny, very well done.

Can't wait to see more of this comic genius.

For the record, "Guitar Guy" was very good. As a fellow musician, I found him to be a very accomplished guitarist. His vocal pitch is true although he does not have the timbre of a lead vocalist.

What can I say I came, I saw and I laughed my a** off. One of the best events ever.
You literally lose yourself in his characters. Well worth the price, I'm hoping for a DVD of his visit to Melbourne to be released soon!

The show openned with 'Guitar Guy'. What an amazing talent, telling his life story through his guitar. Guitar Guys lead us through moments in his life with laughter and great music. He is a huge talent in his own right. There was then a 20 minute interval which by the crowds reaction was not popular, as it felt like the show had just started. When Jeff came out on stage, I had trouble understanding his first few lines - was he nervious?. But it did not take long before he had us all laughing through his routine with his well known characters. It was a little disappointing that Walter was not on stage long, however the show was fantastic, my cheeks hurt from laughing so much! Jeff engaged the audience with his skills and his 'rapport' with his characters shined. The fast conversations between Jeff and Peanut highlight just how clever Jeff is. It was good to see Jeff had done research on Australia and included this in his show. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and look forward to Jeff returning to Australia in the future.
