My partner and I were so excited to see David Copperfield as we are from Australia and have heard/seen so much about him.
When we walked in we couldn't believe how small the theatre was for him, we were expecting a huge theatre with just seating everywhere, instead it was small and with some tiny drink tables in between crappy rsl style chairs. (Our Cirque De Soleil Ka seats were ten times better)
Whilst his magic was good, I feel he took too long before each one, and only really had a few that we thought were brilliant.
We saw Penne and Teller a couple days later and actually enjoyed that show more.

David Copperfield was very impressive. We sat in the front row and could see everything.
His performance was polished and he loves applause.
I would see the show again.

Having seen David Copperfield perform on TV, I was really keen to see his show in person. I was not disappointed. His magician's skills are unbelievable and I found his rapport with the audience particularly entertaining! The show was fast paced, but also managed to be intimate, involving audience participation in most of his tricks, though "tricks" seems too inane a word for David's performance. A great night's entertainment!
