poor advertised; took my 7 and 15 year old without being aware not suitable; the poster, promo did not state anything ; search said suitable for families. Neither kid liked it and they love musicals;

I saw a Chorus Line for the first time back the the 70's and then again perhaps in the 90's.
I have always taken my mother and this year I got to take two of my beautiful girls and introduce a new generation to a show that I love. They also loved it especially the 17 year old.... she was laughing all the way through and as always we all left singing the songs.

I enjoyed this production as much as the one I saw which from memory was in the early to mid 1970's. The dancing was amazing. Congratulation to all the cast, your hard work was worth it.

For the price I was expecting a lot more pizazz and excitement. There were long periods of monotonous monologue (I even manged a snooze during one of them), only one costume change and no sets to speak of.
The talent of the dancing and singing was commendable.

What a great show! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole show. The staging, sets and lighting were spectacular, and the cast were amazing. As a dancer I would liked to have seen more challenging choreography, but i would not hesitate to see it again.

What a great show. They did such a great job with a classic and putting a modern spin on it. It was great to see that they didn't sway too much from the original. It was so enjoyable and our group laughed and were on the edge of our seats. I loved the idea of no intermission as with this production there really isn't anywhere they could put a break in. The cast were really amazing, they did a fantastic job and you could tell they wanted to be there. The only downside i guess was that there was no encore, apart from that, it was a fabulous production. Well done to all involved.

very disappointed in show,may I missed the good part while I felt a sleep,but when I opened

Due to the fact that I am a big fan of the movie production, I found it was lacking in the pace of the dancing and music that is delivered in the movie. It is however always fantastic to immerse yourself in the live music and action on stage that the theatre offers. Josh was a great performer when on stage executing his dance moves, but I just wish the rest of the cast had been a little better with the quality of their moves, as I admit I was expecting to be "wowed".

I knew what the play was all about and I was not disappointed with neither the performance and dance of the artists.
I just tought the final act the "Chorus Line" dance itself was a bit too short.

Everything about this was tops - the orchestra, the choreography, the voicess and of course the dancing!
We were a bit concerned about sitting for 2 hours without an interval but time flew - it was not an issue. Would recommend taking in a bottle of water though.

This was the first time I had seen this show in any form and I was lulled into a'' oh hum''attitude for the 1st few minutes while they set the characters and plot.
That was my fault ,as I now know I must have been exposed to imitators and weak american psych drama,and thus was expecting the usual shallow ,go nowhere ,don't care experience.
The dialogue,lyrics,and attitude/acting of the 3 women on stage , at about 10 minutes in, woke me up and from there on I found it absolutely riveting . The dancing builds into such a fabulous climax it will thrill anyone. This cast truly does a great justice to this show and really does merit the accolades including the term "classic". I just might go and see this again!

I found the show pleasant but not spectacular. In fact I found the auditions tiring and repetitive which I realise is what an audition is about. But I didn’t enjoy spending 2 hours watching the sameness.
I also found the cast to be very ordinary in looks, acting and style.
I looked forward to what I thought would be a dramatic ending but even though the ending was good - I liked the gold costumes and the music was great – it was over so quickly
The ending was an anticlimax after waiting almost two hours for this. There were no encores and no stars in this show. The stage went black and the show was over.

I went into this production excited and unfortunately left feeling slightly underwhelmed. I am a huge fan of musical theater and make an effort to see as many as humanly possible, but this production didn't give me the same 'wow' factor I'm accustomed to feeling. I know that A Chorus Line is more an insight into the human condition and the struggles faced by people in both the cut-throat dance industry and in their personal lives, as opposed to an all out sensory blast like 'Wicked'....but the pace or sets isn't what I didn't enjoy.
I found that director Zach (Joshua Horner) lacked any emotion or shift in tone when delivering his lines from off stage. Almost like a news anchor reading lines from a teleprompter, and this was so off putting it distracted me from becoming immersed in the stories that were being told. I realise that he's intended to be intimidating and detached during these interrogations, but the delivery felt weak and hollow. I felt 'The Music and the Mirror' number by Cassie wasn't as powerful as it could have been. Considering it is one of the climactic points of the show. I also had a hard time getting into the personal stories of some characters. Perhaps as a member of gen Y I'm too desensitised to the emotional turmoil and desperation that was being portrayed by these characters, and as such this may have led to my dissociation. Maybe not, but for some reason I just couldn't get into their stories. In saying that there were moments of brilliance and some great performances throughout the show and the final number truly was dazzling. I didn't dislike A Chorus Line, I just felt there were some factors that detracted from making this a memorable piece of music theater. Which is a shame, because from what I'm told this production is touted as one of the best.
