Brilliant singer songwriter that is still great live. He has been a much underrated performer for so long and never got the accolades deserved. I saw him first in 1980 with Rockpile / Dave Edmunds (Its a shame he had a falling out with Dave and has never quite got over it, I wish I new what for) and later during the 80's with his cowboy outfit. He has so many great songs that never got picked up on the payola radio we have here in Australia. I hope he comes back here soon so I can see him again ..... and next time I would love to hear him sing some more of my favorites such as Marie Provost, Crackin up and I love the sound of breaking glass too.

Favourite moment: too many to mention but certainly Nick's solo rendition of "Alison" in the third encore was a sublime way to finish the night @

seriously great moments - every song a gem. total class act with a band that complimented every song with adept playing. Amplified music that worked in a venue not designed for it - compliments to the sound design.
for those that didn't go but wished they had - your seats were noticeably empty.

As I think I was possibly the youngest person in the audience ( 31), I didn't think I'd be familiar with many of his songs - Or find them relevant for me. HOWEVER - I thought he was fantastic and full of energy and soul and will definitely be buying his new album on the back of this concert. Nice one Mum for getting me to go with her.

Nick Lowe and band were just so good! Felt truly lucky to be there, a fabulous songwriter who has an unique ability to connect with the audience on an intimate level and best of all he seemed to be loving it still !!
