the concert was awesome. The only downside to having FRONT ROW SEATS was being asked by ushers not to film any of the show and not stand up and dance when the sisters insisted several times that we all do.
everyone in the theater had a phone and was filming parts of the show.

Sound issues for the first few songs aside, The Pointer Sisters ( now comprising Mother,Daughter & Granddaughter) put on a show you do and dont expect. You go hoping that after all these years the hits sound as good as they used to, but dont really think they will. And when they actually DO, the night elevates to another level. And you would think most of their fans would at least be 50+ now. Not so. All ages are still enjoying their disco/pop sound even now. A joyous, fun, throwback to the era with a modern show,sound and band. Oooh Fire, baby!!

Setlist: I'm so excited, Automatic, Jump, Chain chain chain, Slow hand.... My absolute favourite 'Fire' and other great songs that I forgot they even sang. @
Opening act(s): He sounded very Buble / Sinatra. Sorry cant remember his name but he sounded good and looked so young. @

Had a fantastic night. The venue. The sound. The Pointer Sisters. The songs. When I told people I was going to see the Pointer Sisters.... Some were envious, others had no idea who they were. I started singing "I'm so excited" and most new who I was talking about. I thought they would be good to see live as my father had seen the original 3 many many years ago and said they were good.... Well they were fantastic and very entertaining with their suave moves. Great to see an original keep up with her daughter and grand daughter. If they come out again will definately see :)

This event was sensatonal, great energy and performance from both the stars and the crowd . Venue at trak lounge bar was great atmosphere and bar service good . Highly recomended, dont miss it ! No need to turn up too early as doesnt start til late.

The Pointer Sisters are a great short burst entertinment package that gets the whole theatre rocking. Their songs are etched in mindset as well as history which makes for a nostalgic trip into entertainment oblivion for the show. They exude energy as well as an easy and inviting audience participation which was evident by the whole theatre standing, singing and dancing. With Issa & Ruth acompanying Anita it compliments a fresh look and the vocal input from Issa especially leaves nothing backstage. A hugely memorable date.

Not as good as I'd expected. Lacked the charisma of the original group.
I felt the girls were forced to shout rather than sing because the band was overwhelmingly loud. Sorry, didn't do it for me.

A great night out... will never forget the band's stunned faces when the girls opened off stage. Highlights were dancing when told to by the 'sisters' (much to the ushers dismay), the whole crowd were forced to boogie when those of us in the front few rows couldn't resist the opportunity!! NB. only one original Pointer Sister (Ruth) makes an appearance, the other two are her daughter and granddaughter - both have amazing voices so no problem there.

The Pointer Sisters are down to one sister, Ruth, who is now 65. Joining her on stage was her daughter and her grand daughter. It could have been disappointing....but it wasn't. In fact it was a terrific show with tons of energy. At the end the whole audience got up and started dancing. The back-up band were top quality too. Highly recommended.

Anita ofcourse stole the show! What a voice! The other two members of Anita's family had really good voices, the back up band was so talented. Ofcourse it was not the full magic of the original Pointer Sisters you can never replicate those 4 voices together or even the 3 voices together but all in all it was a good show and I would go again!

The Pointer Sisters were exillerating and their voices were sublime. Could not believe they were that good live and boy did they get the crowd dancing and on their feet all over the place...loads of laughs and loads of fun remembering all their hits. Great to see so many people having so much fun and boy did the Sisters look like they were having a ball.

Pointer Sisters - I always thought was 3 sisters not a daughter and a grand daughter, good night, music was great and knew all the songs but disappointed that it wasnt all the sisters. If I had known when I bought the tickets for $90 I wouldnt have gone. Plus didnt start until after 9pm.
