The Opening show for the talented Alice McCall was amazing, brilliant show with a fabulous singer, stunning models and a collection to die for - super pretty pieces that you want in your wardrobe asap!
The runway setup was excellent,we had front row seats which were perfect to get up close to the action and I would book front row again. Front row is the best way to see everything and iimmerse yourself in the show experience.
The organisation of this was very good e.g.: Ushers, Lighting, Sound etc
Limited food being served again this year which was the topic of discussion for patrons again!!! This was the same issue last year and a big dissapointment if not worse! I saw x2 mini burgers on a tray and honestly people were running for the tray - could have been mistaken for a football scrum!! Some people in fashion want to eat!
Please fix the lack of food iissue for next year, you need to up the quantities so that it matches the patron attendence numbers as its not working currently at the ratio planned. If you don't have enough for a catering budget, appoint some food trucks to be positioned outside of the venue e.g.: 'Fashion meets food area' or a simple crepe/hotdog vendor just outside the doors would make people happy and less hungry.... forced to have a liquid meal!!
No 'aftershow' access to the VIP lounge, which was a dissapointment as you are feeling excited and want to celebrate the shows success/discuss the collection with others who enjoyed the show. Most people have come straight from work so didn't get the time to enjoy the lounge experience pre show. This left us feeling flat and a touch annoyed. The security on the door could have been less rude when turning us away. So a massive thumbs down for that!
The Gift bags this year are much better, we loved that Mercedes Benz improved their gift from last years USB stick to something we would use which is the Tea canister...straight away the perfect item to live on ones work desk! So well done for that! Also glad to see that there wasn't a 1 litre bottle of mineral water this year, the can is much better. The gift bag this year was better overall with items that people want and will use e.g.: Coffee scrub, teeth whitening etc so a massive improvement. Also like the embossed leather patch on the enviro bag, nice touch.
