HUGE LETDOWN.. Over priced and poorly done

This was basically an Iceworld end of year concert...
The marketing and ticket price lead us to think it was more...
The most exciting bits were the off ice entertainment and the adorable junior skaters. The jugglers couldn't juggle and the skaters were falling over....

Very deceiving and given we drove from the gold coast - was a big let down....

I wonder if we in society today are treated to spectacular shows and we always expect the same level.
it was ... ok... timing was way out at times and there did not seem to have continuity.

We thought given the pics in the pamphlet that it was an actual circus. Most of it was kids who were learning to ice skate at the rink, skating in circles, with a bit of juggling thrown in. Our kids asked ot leave during the interval because it was so disappointing and nothing like a circus.

Favourite moment: My highlight was the two acrobats dressed in lifeguard outfits. They showed such incredible strengh and had a great sense of humour. @

You will enjoy seeing all the different levels of skating, from young kids looking very cute to the adult couple skating which was flawless. The jugglers were brilliant and the fire display was intense. The show was enjoyed thoroughly.

The whole concept is great. I would like to see more enthusiasm from the performers, there should be more backstage build up so when they are out there they are ready to dazzle which is what is expected of a circus. The skating routines were fine, just needed a little more emotional sparkle. Fire jugglers were good. Pop-eyed were brilliant and funny. Hanging performer (Miss Michelle) needs a new stage name and a little tweaking on her performance. Circus MC unfortunately let everyone down.
Do it again, but with much more emotional oomph and an exciting MC. Don't give up, do it better!!!

I think the performers tried there best, but all in all the whole show never really kept me interested.I was very dissapointed in the food quality and i dont think the show was value for money.a lot of falls happened and the performers wernt really in sinc with oneanother throughout the performance.

The Circus Spectacular was very disappointing. Not what I expected at all.
I think there was a couple of "circus" type acts however basically it was an extremely average ice skating performance.

The skaters were obviously local kids, which is great, however when you are expecting a Circus Ice Spectacular On Ice Show, you can only be disappointed, as you were left feeling like you had been to your childs school performance.

This show was a great experience. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Would definately go to an Ice show at Boondall Ice World again in a heartbeat!! Our only complaint was there was not enough skating in the 2nd half!!!

Children's concert not professional performance!

This event was a children's end of year concert dressed up as a professional performance through the addition of a couple of other acts. Unfortunately I was disappointed as I thought we were going to a professional performance and when all the children began performing it was a let down.
For a children's end of year ice skating concert it was great and maybe if i was made aware that that was what it was before I went I wouldn't have been so disappointed.

I can't wait to see this show!
All the amazing performances you would normally see at a circus with jugglers, acrobats, figure skaters, clowns, air gymnasts, and others that you can only see at this show! It consists of 20 acts made up of International ice skaters and circus performs,
Total number of members of the company (including artists, technicians and musicians) is 106 people!
