What an absolutely fabulous night we had in Sydney. Elaine still has that star quality and the audience wanted more even after 3 standing ovasions! I haven't applauded that much in years!

This is my first time to states theatre watch a concert. Elaine Paige is professional super star, I love her song very much as memory. This night was unforgettable night, specially the song named 'Don't cry for me, Argentina'!

A wonderful show at the fantastic Sydney State Theatre venue.Ms Paige gave us a fine range from Cole Porter to Les Mis,all blended with good characterisation.I hope that she can carry on for many more years entertaining us.An amazing talent not to be missed.

The first two songs were very disappointing. The music was so loud that you couldn't hear Elaine sing. After that point most of the concert was excellent although there were a couple of dud songs further into the first half.
Songs such as Memory & Don't Cry for me Argentina were incredible as were a number of others.
On the whole it was a great night and worth going to.

Elaine Paige was superb,
She sang all the songs from the shows she starred in.
The backing orchestra was sensational and the packed Hamer Hall loved every minute.

We went expecting some goosebump moments but felt that Elaine had passed her best and failed to put the passion and vocal range into many of her songs particularly Je ne regrete et rien (Scuse the poor french) and memories there were glimpses of the old Elaine Paige but several costume changes and anecdotes helped her to conserve her energy and voice. She does look fabulous for her age and did tell some amusing stories but overall we felt she should have stayed retired.

Sadly the music drowned her lovely voice and made it that if you did not know the song you were unable to hear or make out the lyrics Unfortunately quite disappointing.

Elaine Paige's voice is as strong and as perfect as when I first saw her perform live in London in Sunset Boulevard in 1995. Her characterisations were first class and the narrative was both entertaining and informative.

great seats - beautiful music and a polished artist. All the favourite musicals sung by a spine tingling voice. Elaine is a polished entertainer who does not needthe electronic gadgets so man so calle modern day snges need to perform

Ms Paige was very good but the overall performance was spoilt by a loud musical director and it appeared that the orchestra did not complement the artist but rather were in competition.

Elaine Page proved once again to be the queen of music and theatre. This foxy lady keep dazzeling the crowds with her magnificent voice and wit. A must seen show for both young and old. Be sure to be on your feet several times to applause this fine artist and her fantastic team of musicians. Thank you for the Memories!

Have been a great admirer of Elaine Paige for many years so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to see her live in Melbourne. I thought it one of the best performances I have ever experienced. Quite honestly I was disappointed. She seemed to take quite a while to warm up and I would have preferred her to sing the songs she is good at - the bouncy numbers - than trawl through the slow ballads of her career. And she should have left Piaf alone!
