Our family thoroughly enjoyed the show! A great story line set in medievil times, depicted by fantastic dancing, singing and music pieces. We have been to several other Irish dance shows and this story line has a little more edge to it than most. Was great to be able to meet cast members after the show also, the kids loved it! Would reccommend anyone to see this show! Well done to those involved.

Like the previous reviewer, I went to see this with my mother and we were both disappointed. The show could have been put on by students. The costumes are tacky and the dancing wasn't up to the standard of previous Irish dancing shows I've seen. In fact, it was so cringeworthy that we didn't return after the interval. Hardly any of the dancers smiled or looked like they were enjoying themselves. The choreography just isn't good, and it's a shame because some of the dancers have the potential to be great. Some of the dancing is provocative and not in keeping with what you'd expect of this type of show. Definitely a let-down. If you get the opportunity to see Spirit of the Dance or Riverdance (of course) I highly recommend you go. This however, didn't even compare.

This show was a waste of $80, the performance was far too amateur looking for that price.
The 2 props looked worse than at a childrens dance concert and the costumes were the same.
The performers didnt dance as though they enjoyed themselves only 2 smiled, and they didnt seem like they were proffessional dancers.
The whole show was like a High-School musical.
We bought these tickets as a gift to my mother and i felt embarrassed to what the show turned out to be. It had been given rave reviews and was highly recomended.
I felt like walking out after 5minutes.

This was an amazing show and the story told so well. Had our children there and miss fidget was still the whole time, locked to the stage. The other one wanted to run away and dance with them, she was so inspired!
My husband who is not a large fan of dancing (but with three girls - he gets no choice!) was also riveted and we could have all sat through it again and again.
Wonderful dancers who give all to the show and it is so amazing how much more the show gives to the viewer.

Favourite moment: My favourite moment was when all the cast Irish dance in a long line. It's unbelievable. It's like nothing I have ever seen before! Very talented. @

Dance of Desire is a breathtaking dance extravaganza! The show takes Irish dancing to a whole new level with it's spectacular routines. The set looks fabulous and the dancers are exceptionally talented. A must see for the entire family.
