This was the second time i had been to the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. I was in the mosh pit again but on the opposite side. Anyway the celebrities were absolutely awesome and fantastic and my friends and I got soaked of slime. I also saw some other celebs from Disney who were watching the KCA's like Alicia Banit from As The Bell Rings. I loooooooooooove Mel B so seeing her made me so happy! The best things were being like half a metre away from freddy from icarly and getting dumped with slime by Guy Sebastian. Although I became sick for two months after the KCA's it was definitely worth it.

Due to coming from interstate, I am not sure if it is possible that I can attend next year but I had a great time! Lining up for the Orange Carpet for the whole day was definitley an experience that will be remembered. It was definitley worth it though as we were able to meet many celebrities however the pushing from other people in the crowd was terrible but can't always be helped. Unfortunatley, many of the celebrities were guided to the media in patches and skipped places along the Orange Carpet. Once inside, although in the slime area, we were not slimed which was a bit of a disappointment but not to worry. It was great meeting many celebirites including Nathan Kress who was lovely and posed for a photo with us! If I lived in Sydney, I would definitley attend again and I recommend it to everyone!

best experience of my life! so amazing! loved it!! i really had the best time! nathan kress and jeanette mccurdy smiled at me cos i held up a sign saying hi! and then at the end backstage they looked where some ppl were standing in the carpark and screamed heya t our level and i got SOO close to allii simpson and like all the celebrities on stage and was really close to a guy from justice crew when i was in line

It was amazzinnnnngg. I was in the moshpit and it got quite hot in there but when the slime came on it felt pleasantly good .lmao . although i expected more slime. Anyway the amounc of celebs i met was incredible, i actually didn't meet them at the orange carpet i met them likee kinda backstage ish. Twas good. And when Cody and Jack Vidgen performed < 3 i lost my voiceee :') Anyway overall i will deffs go next year but maybe this time in the seats so i can actually go to the orange carpet.

So awesome! One of the best parts about them was the fact that we were allowed to take photos inside. The event was run really smoothly & the Orange Carpet was run well too.

This is totally different to any other show. It's great for the kids, not offensive, all harmless fun, and me as a mum taking my children and their friends had great pleasure seeing their smiles on their faces. We were sitting way back as they were the only tickets available, want to be slimed next year so I hope I can get tickets in the mosh pit.

This is my third year attending the Kids Choice Awards in the mosh pit. I love the slime - but there should be more, lots more.
I felt the guest appearances weren't as strong this year as previous years (Melbourne, 2009 was awesome), however the guy from Australia's Got Talent was defnitely the highlight of the evening (I forgot his name).

My Mum asks to improve the quality of the KCA t-shirts. She wouldn't let me buy one this year because they looked cheap.

Show was great just need to make people in seats towards the back feel more a part of the show as we felt we were watching the Mosh pit .There needs abigger area to get slimed and there seemed to be a lot of vacants seats.More overseas acts as it was a bit like the Cody Simpson show !

We travelled from WA for the event which itself was great fun and which my kids thoroughly enjoyed.
I had a couple of moments that I didn't like. 'Firstly the Orange Carpet' demonstrated obnoxious behaviour from some adults present who were there to take photos of celebrities. One 'lady' swore at a child behind her who had pushed in to her by accident. Her behaviour was uncalled for, and she needed a reminder that this is a kids event not an adult celebrity stalking event.
The second issue I had was with the way that people pushed into the line to enter into the event. My son and many others had been waiting for quite a few hours, only to have older children pushing in front of them. I think there needed to be rope barriers or something similar set up so that people cna't push in.

This was a fantastic event for kids!! my two were so excited at seeing their favourite stars, as a parent i was very impressed at how safe the event was and content was age appropriate.
Only idea for improvement would be an outdoor screen so littlies can see the orange carpet.

Wow, Nick what an event. My kids (all 4 of them) had a blast! We learnt a few things on the day (being our first attendnace) and really loved the way the slime pit was rotated so all the kids down there got good vantage points throughout the event. A bit sad to see quite a few 'kids' in the slime pit that were unmistakably over 15 though. Also a shame the orange carpet was not the best viewing if you got there anytime after 11am - the fence was too high for younger children and when the tv camera came out at 1pm, everyone stood and surged forward making it a very long and uncomfortable wait of 2.5 hours. All in all, the kids had a great time and in the end it was all for them so hopefully we can get tickets again next year. xx

The overall show was good. The Audio was absolutely terrible. I was further up the back and you could not hear the presenters or stars. I little boring that Cody won most of the awards. Last years presentation was heaps better entertainment. Loved Julia.

Great night had by all the family. Kids really enjoyed being in the mosh pit and getting slimed. Only thing that was disappointing was the orange carpet where is was impossible to even she the stars. Maybe next year they could incorpate a stage as well so that even the kids that can't get close enough can't see the stars as they walk the carpet/runway.

What a great event just not for kids to enjoy but for adults to enjoy as well. Will be sure to get tickets for next years awards. Can't say what was the greatest as it was all so memorable. Well done Nickoledeon can't wait till next year already.

the kids choice awards 2011 were great
it was the first time i have been to the kca's and im definetly coming to see it again!!
the orange carpet was too crowded and unless you were in the first or second row,you couldnt see anything,so we ended up leaving the orange carpet,would be good if it had seats or something so everyone could see all the celebrities walk the orange carpet

Wow what a full on day/night of great entertainment! I was lucky enough to be able to take my two daughters and a friend to the awards. Boy did they have a great time...they were so looking forward to getting slimed and they well and truely got SLIMED !! The entertainment throughout the day was enjoyable and well organized.My daughters didn't stop talking about it all the way home...THANKS NICKELODEON !!
