The test cricket seems to be played at a very slow pace these days.
In future will only get geneal admin tickets and go to the midday and arfternoon session of several days.
Seats very uncomfortable... found myself standing all day... wasted money there...

I thought the Cricket was good but the entertainment in between the session left a bit to be desired. Seeing the Australians Bowl well and score 59 runs I enjoyed and the way Pakistan didn,t give up throughout the game.

Excellent seats, great view of the action and felt like I was actually part of the game. Ponting scored 100, ate too many hot chips and drank too much beer. The blokes sitting behind us provided an entertaining running commentary.

Have to admit that this was my first time at the cricket live. I am a cricket tragic in front of the TV, but live at the ground is a whole new experience. Cricket was amazing, very tense Day 3, lots of wickets and not many runs!! Lots of niggle and chat on the field, great stuff. But the crowd watching was something else, never seen so much alcohol consumed by so many people in one place for the ENTIRE day!! As the day wore on, beach balls everywhere, security guys razed big time and the usual evictions of those who got way out of hand. What a great day.

We just went to day 1 of the Test, which was fantastic. We had a great day .. age range 2 yrs - 53yrs and we all enjoyed it. The day's play was good and exciting. A day at the cricket on the west bank .. can't beat it!

Unbelievably hot with no shelter and no umbrellas allowed - very disappointing.
Unbelievably hot and taking 3 kids no drink containers allowed as considered hard esky - also very disappointing.
Food and drinks - very expensive especially for families - disappointing again.
From a Mum's point of view it was a very long, hot and expensive day.
From my boys point of view it was still long, hot but fantastic and one they wont forget.
Therefore, a worthwhile day.
One thing for next time, take a towel to sit on as those that had been before knew this would help with the heat.

Platinum tickets are worth the view. Unfortunately, seats and rows are too close together. No leg or elbow room. Getting to and from seat is a nuisance to those around you. Very easy to stumble and drop food or drink on others as there is very little space for your feet when walking to and from your seat. Should have light beers on sale as an option.

First time paid for top level seats. Fantastic view of the game, over the wicket. I would buy these tickets again. Only Downer - 5 day tickets only 3 days of cricket and NO REFUND for lost days!!!! Very annoyed about losing money, Cricket Australia is big enough to refund in these cases.

Test Match Cricket can often be described as slow and boring to the neutral supporter. However the thrid of the Test Match proved to be action packed, plenty of runs and lots of wickets and the crowd was well behaved and a joy to be in. I took my 3 and 6 year old nephews and they had a ball. If your going to go to a test match go to day 3.

I loved going to see the game. It was the first International Game that I have been to and I was in awe of the atmosphere.
I will definately be going again. The only complaint that I have was the cost of the food and drinks at the venue. It was way too expensive especially for things like water and sandwiches. Next time I will take my own food

i travelled down from hervey bay to watch the first days play of the test. i stayed about 40 minutes from brisbane with family. i got a train from wacol to roma street then a bus from romas street to the ground. from door where i was staying to me sitting down at the gabba was a bit over an hour. awesome!!! very happy with return trip as it only took a little longer. the bonus is all transport was free!!! the gabba is a great venue to go see a sporting event and today was no different. the only complaint which i am sure is common is the price of food, drinks and beer. $6.40 for a beer!!!! overall i had a great day and will be making the effort again in the near future.

Collecting my ticket was easy, no problems getting through the gate and seat easy to find. Every staff member was helpfull, friendly and curtious. My seat possition was excellent with a great view of the whole oval.
The game was a bit slow at times however seeing both sides bat and field was a bonus.
The free transport back to the city was also great.
A most enjoyable day.

If it wasn't for the excellent batting and bowling by Australia it would have been a pathetic representative team from another nation. Definitely day two was the pick choice to go with as 15 wickets of the West Indies fell on day three and the match was over

I enjoyed the day. However, having booked a ticket in the UN licesed section, I was somewhat frustrated to find that right at the back of me was a bar and that people where allowed to stand, sometimes four deep, and drink excessively, with the accompanying stupid carrying on, which got louder as the day went on. Surely there could be an area totally free of this.
