Acrobatics was entertaining and amusing, however expected more variety for the amount paid for tickets, eg. animals etc.
Heat was unbearable which dampened the experience - cooling system not sufficient

A last minute dash to see the last Circus Oz show in Sydney was well worth the effort. Tremendous energy, amazing acrobatics, and good fun. Everyone loves a circus and I highly recommend this performance.

A uniquely Australian circus experience of fun, humour, slapstick and amazing feats of skill and strength. Great to see a "strong woman" and a superb "ring-mistress". The live music was brilliant and not too loud. So much better than recorded music.

Both my partner and I were thoroughly entertained by the varied skills, excellent displays, professional performances by all members of the team of multiskilled and energetic performers. By intermission we both felt we had had our moneys worth of entertainment however the show went on with even more. Do go and enjoy as we did.

Absolutely brilliant, original, inventive and masterful. All Australian entertainment at it's very best. I have been in the entertainment industry for years and have never seen anything quite so spectacularly engaging and totally mesmerising.
We are a family of four, two kids, 9 and 11, and we all totally enjoyed every minute of the Barely Contained show. The circus has never been so much fun.

We went to the Circus Oz show with the kids, it was awesome, much better than I had expected. The kids really enjoyed it too. The show was entertaining, the things they did were amazing and it was funny too. Well done guys, you look like you are really enjoying yourselves! We would definately go again, & have already started to tell our friends.

OMG the circus show was awesome!!! Circus Oz they have "daredevil skills, irreverent humour and social conscience" (The Age)..so true!!!!!! hilarious and amazing!!! OHH i love it!!!!!

Non-stop thrills and action and plenty of laughs. We took our 10 and 7 year old kids and they just loved it. The circus tent was lovely and air-conditioned to combat the summer heat and prices for candy bar treats were surprisingly well priced. We would recommend this event for people of all ages and would love to see Circus Oz again soon!

If you're thinking about it - just do it! Whichever way you look something brilliant is happening. 'Barely Contained' is a good attempt at describing it. We loved it probably even more than our also impressed six year old!! Fantastic - way more than "just" a circus.....

Awesome show ! Not only did my little ones love it, but so did my wife& I ! The only down side is you realise how little talent you have after you see how everyone in this show multi tasks ! Just incredible. Highly recommend it to all families ( some language is a little bit cringey with small kids at times) but apart from that....do yourself a favour.

The entire show was amazing. It displayed the acrobatic and strength skills of all the performers while telling a story. It kept you glued to your seat wondering what they were going to do next.

Saw Circus Oz last night and I loved every second of it. There's a humbleness about it that warms you to the bone and it just cant fail to excite, amuse and thoroughly delight. Good fun!!

This is now the third time over many years that my husband and I have seen this highly funny and talented company bring together a piece of entertainment to enthrall everyone.
We hope they go on producing this type of completely unusual theatre.

Barely Contained is a great show. We expected it to be good but it was riveting. Action packed, creative, diverse, funny and thoughtful. Try not to miss it.

Went there on Saturday with my 5 yrs old son and we really enjoyed the show. It has a surprisingly small staff, but everyone is very talented and trained and knows heaps of tricks.
Only 4 stars because at the dancing ballerina stage my 5 yrs old got really scared when the artists removed the legs and arms of the midget lady. He kept repeating that experience all over the weekend.
Please, change that part to make it more funny and less scary for children, which makes the largest part of the audience.

Overall the show was fantastic, the artists are very talented.
I highly recommend the show to anyone from probs. 8 yrs old to 108

I took my 8 yr old grandson to the show and he had a fabulous time.
We particularly loved the character of the ovr pretentious "blond": events coordinator...very talented young lady.
My recommendation though is that the show needs to keep a "fast pace" if they want to keep the attention of the youngsters. My grandson became board with the lengthy "tapping sessions" and the young "rope" lady went on too long. However they are all very talented and this is just a minor criticism

Took my two boys to watch Circus Oz again after enjoying the show a few years ago.
Must admit I enjoyed it better the first time around, the show seems to have a lost little spontaneity and sparkle? Maybe it needs a few new ideas?
Good fun and great for the kids however!
