OK, so in true Perth tradition the weather was around 40 degrees for the dance festival but that didn't stop anyone! There were thousands of people milling around, dancing their booties off and indulging in too much V. The Presets rocked, Carl Cox was great and TooManyDJ's were better than I could have imagined.
I loved the rides and the pavillion set up as a permanent shower, and was lucky enough to score one of the last two stubby-holders left :) It was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday, with friends and great music in the sun.

Where was technotronic? Infected mushrooms were entertaining but the rest of the DJ's were pretty average as pressing play on the CD does not classify as working the decks.
However, who soaked up the misery of the music and the weather - Carl Cox! If God had a nightclub, Carl Cox would be the DJ playing. Pretty amazing!

Despite the rain Summadayze was one of the best festivals I have ever been to. Fantastic line up! Super organised, never had too long for a toilet (which were very clean) or a drink. Drinks were very expensive though.

i loved it it was well worth going and the line up was great i think it was one of the best dayz i have had in perth great music and company and all in all awesome day just wish the drinks were cheaper as you pay so much for the ticket. water is as expensive as alcohol.

great day, very good dj performances, great atmosphere, lots of variety in dance genres. only bad point was that the yellowm stage over powered the strobe stage and you couldn't hear the dj playing that well.

Loved the event ....the VIP tent location was fantastic ............. Great food, drinks and service and the acts were great....Shapshifters and Krafty Kuts were my favourite !!! The only two things that should be sorted are the limited aircon for the VIP ( one fan with a bit of water) and the fantastic merchandise pack that consisted of a programme, a sachet of sunscreen and a stubby holder was a bit sad really.......come-on guys....it is almost triple the dollars!!!!!!

Amazing day out... only faults was the 40 degree temperature and the lack of bumpers cars (which were there last year) - bring back the bumper cars and you have a 10/10 event!

Good logistic, awesome djs..the only thing that didn´t like was the dj´s time schedule, for example Djs like Danny Tennaglia shouldn´t be far from the main stage. He is a top 15 Dj. Don Diablo played too early, so next time organizers should think carefully before schedule times a places for each Dj.....
The rest was phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!

Roger Sanchez was fantastic and thought it was a great idea to have him on last to finish off the day. I also liked that there were 4 different stages that people could choose to go to. The major downfall to the event was the fact that u could'nt leave and then come back in which i found very disappointing and frustrating. Maybe next time some healthy food options would be a good idea if no one is going to be able to leave the event.

Eddie Halliwell was as expected great have seen him slightly better at summerfield days a couple of years ago, he had more build ups, was very surprised how good 2 many djs where as where a number of other people, also that centre revolving set up was a great idea and would certainly do it again. Carl Cox was good but was probably the most repetative I have ever seen him. Since all the tickets didn't sell it made the whole event alot better as it was easy to get from stage to stage.

well well if you are ever interested in going to an event like this i highly recommend it, the atmosphere was fantastic and everyone had a great day. So good to see people smiling and enjoying the day....

The day was overall really a big shame. Bloc Party DJ's were awful, put a massive downer on the day. Infected Mushroom as usual were awesome!
It was a cold day.
Toilets were fine.
All the music was pretty boring and the same type. Nothing new and exciting. The only show that got the crowd reeeally moving was Infected Mushroom.
Merchandise was so ridiculously expensive. $80 for a ugly summadayze jumper - no way!

Summadayze has been the biggest event in my calendar for years now & this new year's day will be the same! While the weather last year was pretty average, the day in itself was truly memorable! Ferry Corsten was drafted in for an extended set following Eric Prydz’s cancellation and he did not disappoint! He had the whole bowl on its feet dancing & pumped for Underworld who ended up finishing a hard day of partying solidly! There were a few clashes last year but these are pretty tough to avoid when there are so many talented DJs playing! Too bad Armin Van Buuren couldn't make the trip down to the Melbourne gig.
Summadayze always have the biggest international & local DJs year after year & the next Summdayze won't disappoint! Carl Cox, 2manydjs, Eddi Halliwell, Fake Blood, Sebastian Leger, The Shapeshifters & more! I can't wait!
