Two and a half hours of fun filled enjoyment. Who needs fancy scenery and special effects when the cast have you glued to their every move. A full house must have been wondering why the production hadn't been signed up for a much longer season

The Freddy Benson character was well portrayed. We could not understand the Jolene character's accent. I guess I have been spoilt by seeing the spectacular Broadway production in 2006, and I found the Melbourne production somewhat lacking especially in the scenery ad props department. But as it only had a very limited season I suppose that was to be expected.

Thoroughly enjoyed the production. The sheer enjoyment and professionalism of those performing in all areas was infectious. The Principals romped their way through the dialogue and music, the Cast made difficult moves look effortless as they changed sets, danced and sang at the same time whilst the Orchestra unobtrusively supported everyone. For a few hours those talented people made us forget the realities of the world around us. How fortunate we were and thank you to everyone involved.

Have never been to a Production Company production before - can't imagine why. This show was terrific. Witty lyrics, pleasant songs and a great cast, particularly Matt Hetherington. It just goes to show that you don't need masses of scenery, props and special effects to put on something wonderful. We will certainly be subscribing to next year's shows.

If I could have I would have given this 3 and 1/2 stars but the program wouldn't allow this - I would definitely reccommend this to others - just one or two things to keep in mind for next time.
We discussed that Lawerence Jameson looked too old for his character who was supposed to be roughly early 50s - he looked from a distance much older, which also looked a bit wrong when kissing the young women.
Matt Hetherington was outstanding!!! His facial expressions even looked like steve martins in the movie - what a hard role!! He did such a great job.
It was interesting how the musical of DRS a greater role to Muriel Eubanks - not sure if it was especially memorable but on the other hand I think the stage production needed an act to the side - like shakespeare plays with their clown stories - not sure of the actual term of this however.

I have always loved the music from this musical but I have never seen it live, only the movie. So when I saw that the Production Comany were putting it on I couldn't wait to go.
I was concerned that it would not live up to what I knew of the musical but it was even better. The whole cast were fantastic and the singing and acting were wonderful.

This was one of the best musicals I have seen so far. Great choreography, the cast were great, great singers, great set and great music. The storyline is a cheerful one about love, relationships in the 1920's. It really takes you back to the simpler times.
Overall a must-see for anyone who enjoys light entertainment and a happy ending.

Lighthearted story with loads of light, enjoyable music to cheer our wintry blues.
The show was a great vehicle for a number of talented young stars to show what they can do on stage, mentored and supported by some experienced and standout stage performers.
The whole cast did extremely well. But of course there were a few standouts. I liked 'Hortense' very much and Tim Campbell (Bobby van Husen) did a cracking job on the singing, acting and dancing. Loved the tango routine, "won't you dance the Charleston with me' and 'On the Riveriera' numbers. Of course Rhonda Burchmore when she really sings out, is wonderful to hear right from the back balcony where I sat.

We didn't expect the show to be any good, but we couldn't stop giggling the whole way through! Musically wonderful and very comical, and you don't have to be a connoisseur to understand it. What a great lighthearted getaway from every day.

The show was well up to expectation. We had front row seats, possibly a little too close , however great , just the same.No particular outstanding parts however when the 2 x lead actors went mirror image , it was well done and amusing.Overall the content and perfomance seemed to have everyone smiling gleefully.Even though we all know the songs and have seen them performed by various artists, and the jokes were recycled somewhat, I found it a very cheerful and enjoyable performance.Very fulfilling. The girls were lovely too!!!!what legs!!!

Crazy for you was a colourful, spectacular musical which captured the timeless classic of Gerswins production beautifully. My only complaint was the seating in the upper balcony which was too high to fully appreciate the fantastic production.
