I paid for covered seating in the Hawke Stand at Manuka oval to see the Dogs beat the Bears on that wet weekend in Feb. The footy was not skilful but was humourous in the lake on the oval. It didn't rain during the match which was good because the 'covered' seating next to the Menzies stand only had sky above it, not a roof.

Notable absences Jonathan Brown and Jason Akermanis, and the inclement Canberra weather ensured a low scoring affair between the Brisbane Lions and the Western Bulldogs.
The Lions dominated the first 2 quarters and even managed a super goal assisted by a 50 metre free-kick. But despite taking a 19 point lead into the half time break, they couldn't hold the Doggies at bay.
The 3rd quarter saw the Doggies kick 3 unanswered goals and take a strong lead into the final quarter. In the forth the Lions came out firing and clawed their way back into the contest. Unfortunately a super goal from the Doggies late in the quarter kept them a comfortable distance in front.

Water everywhere, loved the slosh and the hard hits, the ball was like a bar of soap but hey thats wet weather football, love the footy, its the best game in the world.

Great way to spend a Valentines afternoon with a game of footie at Manuka oval, especially when the Western Bulldogs are playing. It wasn't a great game, the ground was so wet and made for ugly football, but nevertheless the doggies got up...
Not sure what's with the whole super goal - 9 point thing... a bit senseless but eneded up fair as both teams got one.
A good opportunity for young players to have a run, would have been nice to have a couple of seasoned players to bring the team together more but the result was great 53 to 45.
Go the DOGGIES!!

Humm, I was disappointed in my choice for reserved seating. My partner and I love AFL and in the tradition will have one or two beers and a meat pie. After paying extra for our seats, we went to sit down and got removed from the area for having beers, it was a no drinking area. The only no drinking area in the place. When I bought the tickets online, it was not made clear to me thats where I was sitting. In fact, nothing indicated that area was a no drinking area.
In the end, we had to sit in the genral admissions area, thus wasted $20.

This had to be the best game all season. The play was fantastic with both teams displaying super skills and high work-rates. The seats we had were fantastic and we were able to see all of the play clearly. Dissapointed that Geelong didn't manage to pull off the win but I was just overall impressed with the quality of the game. It was fantastic!

A few friends and i from Darwin attended the Western Bulldogs vs Geelong game at Etihad Stadium. I booked the seats online and, they were superb seats considering i never been to the stadium. We had an awesome time, the ground was amazing. I would definitely let all my friends know if they are interested in heading down for the footy. :)

We had fabulous seats bought on line. We took our children aged 10 and 12 to their first footy match and they absolutely loved it! We will definitely go again and book online beforehand.

As my brothers and my son hadn't been to a footy match in Melbourne we decided to get together for a footy weekend. My brother came from Perth, we came from Brisbane meeting up with our younger brother where he lives in Melbourne. I was a great game and the atmosphere was great unlike the game between the Lions and Essendon at the MCG. Because we sat with a lot of West coast supporters it made the game more enjoyable being able to get together in a chant for the team. The seating was good and near the goal and I guess the only dissappointing part was that you had trouble seeing the other goals as it was a fair way away.

The place itself is great to view the footy, we walked to the ground and love that we can do that as its so central. The only disappointment was the queues for the food, and the choice of food - no wonder Aussies are up there on the obesety stakes. The queues were way too long for the number of patrons. Otherwise a great venue, will definitely be back (our team winning does help of course! - can you arrange that again?)

Not being able to get second teir seats was disappointing and we sat in good spot but with the cold wind blowing down our backs we were freezing and had to leave early, so probably will not go again. Second teir not as cold.
