A good game by far as it must have been hard in the late afternoon heat.
It was noticeable that Brisbane held back quite a bit so the Glory was off side.
Linesman Ref tended to be watching the monitor screen more than the game at times.
Notice how Brisbane played up to every little tumble as if they were sucks even though Glory saw through all that and gave us a great game. Good on you Glory and well done for a great season. Keep up the good work and wishing you all the pest for the play offs and the finals.

The game was good but the venue ( Members Equity Stadium ) is disgraceful
The stadium is just scaffolding and the day we went it was a mild 28 degrees and we still got burnt as there is no shade even for gold ticket holders ?
If it was above 30 or even hotter it would have been unbearable.???
If this is what Perth has to offer as a stadium then the tickets should be $5.00
It is a shame that the AFL get a huge stadium and the World Game gets a Leggo Stadium!!
Very Poor and we wont go again unfortunatly until the venue improves

The first half was great, good action and attack around the Sydney coal mouth. They seemed to loose it in the second half letting the ball go for lack of a tackle and skill. So many shots were taken to the side instead of straight down the middle. Every corner taken were too high or too long in the kick, no happy medium.
A good game over all but such a pity they didn't get a goal for those extra points.
Hope they improve on the next match.

The boxing day game is a great way to finish Chrissy festivities. Watch the boxing day test, lunch on leftovers, then go to the Glory. The bonus was they played their best game this season and Jamie got a brace.
Excellent day!

What a second half performance by the Glory against Sydney FC. When Sterjovski and Sikora came on the team looked more dangerous in attack and sharper on the ball than Sydney. Come on Glory - keep up the good work and he's to a strong run into the finals! Atmosphere at the game was amazing!!!

The Glory v North Qld game was a poor advertisement for Australian soccer, especially for my visiting relative from the UK who I took along. He felt he would see more skill and commitment watching his local town side play! And then the Glory coach substituted the two players (Pellegrino and Dadi) who were the only ones causing Nth Qld any concerns! To cap matters off, during the half time interval, and having queued for about 15-20 minutes, the caterers had no soft drinks or ice creams available! We were not the only ones who were very upset about the apparent lack of planning for what was always going to be a big crowd. There were a lot of angry people! It may well be some time before I attend another Glory game unless they can get their act together both on and off the field!

Great to see the Glory achieve the home win. Must admit I was getting tired of the number of draws. Over all not a bad game however some areas where I think the Glory need to improve upon are: They need to spread the ball around, so often they keep going down one side of the field. There are 2 sides to the field so why not use both sides. After a while the opposition can pick the side Glory will go down, not good. The Adelaide team looked the hungriest, our boys on occasion lacked the urgency to chase the ball and often just gave up. I think Glory need to practice how to kick the ball from a corner. How is it that Glory have trouble with this, some of these corner kicks and so bad it makes me wonder if there guys are playing A league. In all seriousness my 13 year old son is a better striker of the ball form corners that you guys. (please practice)
Yes we will be back again and we hope to see Glory get better with time. Go Glory.

I think the music is still to loud, especially if you are sitting near the front and should vary the type of music to suit all ages, not just BOOM BOOM type modern. At half time you like to talk about the game but loud music prevents you having a good chat. The big screen monitor should be moved to the opposite diagonal corner so it 's not effected with the sun shinning on it, it's very hard to see. It's there probably becuase it suits the gold pass people in the stands, and not the general public supporters. Surely when the Glory come onto the ground at the start of the game we could have the Glory theme song playing every time, instead of M&M, your trying to get the fans excited for God's sake. You should take a look at the English game, You wouldn't get a team like Liverpool or Man City marching out to M&M. No, it's alway their theme song being played and when a goal is scored it's also played at some grounds while the excitment is there of scoring, then the ground annoucer can come in with the name of the scorer.

I have been at Glory games since 96-7. This team are playing with passion and some attacking flair. The Euro snobs will not be impressed, but ask them when they last went to Old Trafford for a laugh... many of not been outta the Southern hemisphere! With Sikora in perhaps the strong est midfield we have ever had...and a solid, organised back four....we could really push things this season. To the Glory faithful I salute you as for every Chelsea there is a Norwich, and fans stay loyal no matter what.... lets hope we beat Fury this weekend and go top o' the league for the first time since Mich.

i thought the glory were fantastic for some of the game and terrible for other parts. Some of their attacks(especially the counter-attacking) were fast concise and very dangerous. There were times however where the midfield seemed to go missing and the jets had the run of the park.Luckily however they were terrible All game and they probably could be still playing and not have scored.A great first win for the Glory, which should instil a lot of confidence, both for the team and the long suffering supporters.Special mention must go to Victor Sikora who was magnificent throughout the match, and not only when Glory had the ball.Lots of closing down and tracking back.Great to see.

I'm afraid Perth Glory have made no progress over the last 5 years and it is no suprise that with the improvement at other clubs they are finding it very difficult to get into the top half of the table.
The faciltiies at the Members Equity Stadium are third rate and are simply not good enough. Spectators expect , and are entitiled to get much better value for their money. It was a cold wet day and this so called "gold star" seating offered no protection from the elements at all. With the World Cup a distinct possibility for Australia, Perth has simply no chance of hosting any games with the current facilities. A 40,000- 50,000 capacity all seater rectangular stadium with modern facilities is a must and State and Federal Governments should get on with it now. I'm sure with good planning and sponsorship much of the money can be raised from the private sector. Football is the world game and Perth should be part of it, but a new stadium could also host other major events including Rugby, Hockey etc.

Its great to see quality soccer teams play in Perth such as Fulham. (Wolves were ordinary). At the same time, I wanted to see a full strength Glory take them on. With Glory so under-prepared, and seemingly treat it as another pre-season game, it ended up being an exhibition training run for Fulham. I wanted to see our guys have a red hot go at Fulham.
And of course the rain!

My husband and I decided to attend the Perth Glory v Fulham game to see what this round ball game is all about. We have booked to go to England and have tickets to attend the North London Derby in October and so wanted to get some idea of the game before we went. Luckily Fulham was playing Glory in Perth so we were able to experience the fun and excitement of being at a game. With a record 14,000 spectators that atmosphere was amazing! The Glory Supporters Shed are hilarious with support for their team even when they were down - great to see - and hear!!
Enjoyed the game - even in the bad weather! The atmosphere was fantastic.

Great game, especially as the wolves won. However, as we were only visiting for the weekend, it would have been better to split the tickets so as not to include both scheduled games, was this a bit of a fund raiser??
